Disheartening Situation

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am writing to openly express my concern with milestone management here at 15501 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa FL 33647. I write this letter with the anticipation that this to be taken into consideration. There is level of empathy, understanding, and consideration that is lacked. I believe in order to be the best of services opportunities should be raised to concern to better assist tenants of milestone management. The only way a voice can be heard is by reaching multiple platforms. My concerns are raised towards the incident that occurred on the date of 5/03/2018. I was flustered overwhelmed, and felt undermined. Driving from work to the leasing office rushing to avoid being charged a late fee is beyond me. All because the leasing director Craig failed to be empathetic as well communicative. In retrospect, my original sentiments could have been avoided had he provided that care and understanding from the very beginning. Me driving fast on the highway during rush hour, feeling overwhelmed, and wondering how can one be so insensitive; left me feeling inadequate. Let me explain. I called to inquire about the money gram I was wanting to submit. The money gram I was submitting was my remaining balance left for this months rent. I called at 5:15 pm to advise that I would be submitting my money gram but I was afraid that I wouldn’t make it in time because I’m coming off of work, and will hit traffic. (It takes about 30-40 mins with traffic to make it to the leasing office.) I asked if I could leave the money gram under the leasing office door and was told that I would still be charged the late fee even with the check being posted for the date of 5/3/2018 because no one would get to it till the next day. Which was extremely discouraging and seemed unjust. I was also told they are no longer taking payments under the leasing office door because peoples payments were being stolen. I then asked Craig what did he suggest that I do? I inquired I have the funds it’s just a matter of timing. With his quick response he proceeded to say the office closes at 6, and if you can’t get here by that time, you’ll be charged a late fee. (Anyone from Florida is aware of how terrible and unpredictable traffic can be) I then asked if anyone would be willing to stay a bit after 6 pm just so I am not charged a late fee? I was told by Chris he would wait till 6:05. Here I am speeding, looking at the time, and feeling overwhelmed that I would not make it. Talk about pressure! Luckily, Joy was nice enough to wait for me. When I finally made it to their office it was 6:21 pm. I thought to myself “Why was it so hard for this man to say: I’m sorry, we can do the best we can to try and accommodate by staying a few mins past 6 pm” Overall Joy did stay past 6, so why was he giving me so much push back? As oppose to being empathetic? In addition to this, I was charged a late fee due to systematic issues for the month of April. When attempting to submit my payment I received a server error method on the date of 4/3. And that too was not taken into consideration. I was advised that I did not have proof to show the error message I received. These two instances back to back within a matter of less than a week was all too overwhelming and discouraging. No where on the milestone website does it provide such information of having to take screen shots. I assumed my loyalty as a milestone management tenant would give me the confidence that they would be on my side and here to help. Furthermore, I feel there is a lack that is missing and should be reconsidered. Empathy, and compassion! As for Joy, I appreciate you for staying. There should be more people like you in milestone management! You demonstrated to me what it means to serve others in milestone management by something so little as staying a couple minutes late and reassuring me that you would help me out. You’re greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Crystal Santiago Email: Crystalsantiagoa4@***.com P: 860.992.4571

Don’t spend your money here

St. Andrews at Winston Park This place is bull! They hire *** contractors that do *** work. I pay a lot of money to live here and it is not money well spent. Totally miss managed! The owners of the property should really pay a visit and see what a polished terd looks like. The staff acts like they care and they don’t. They act like they are actually doing good for this apartment community and they are not. Last year they resurfaced the parking lots. The tar that was used washed off 2 weeks later. Now the buildings are being painted and who is making sure the painters are even doing a good job? No one! Whoever the painters are they let my neighbors grandparents walk up the stairs while the paint was wet! The poor lady had paint all over her! What kind of human being let’s an elderly person walk through wet paint? The painters do not clean up after each day! Unfortunately the residents must walk through the trash left in the halls by the painters. My neighbor even called the emergency after hours line to have someone sweep the floors so nobody would fall and get injured. Nobody came to clean up. I would think the residents safety is paramount! I guess not. Last time I checked we pay the bills here! Someone should be fired!!!

Yes very true. The management is worst here. They harass tenants and don't treat as human being because of different origin.

Sounds like milestone management has issues across the board. I live in Austin, TX and the place is beyond nasty. Black mold everywhere and recently fold line green funk growing out of kitchen cabinet.

I cannot stress enough how unprofessional the management is here. In general, the staff has a learning opportunity to do better. It starts from the top at Mary Harrington (district manager) and Karen (property manager). I pay my rent online through Rent Cafe there was a glitch in the system directly linked to the ACH payment side. They refused to refund me fees due to their glitch claiming I used the wrong website. Stating the email everyone received to register. Well I got one that said, "Welcome to Resident Services for The Residence at North Dallas Apartments. Our records indicate that you have previously registered with this email address for Resident Services with another community on the RENTCafe platform. You can use this existing account to manage your information at The Residence at North Dallas Apartments." Refund my fees for your ACH glitch.

They don't acknowledge the system glitch and slap fine over their error. This is ridiculous.

Unfair - Move out charges

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU MOVE OUT - THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING YOU USE INSIDE THE APT IN THE NAME OF "MOVE OUT CHARGES". IF YOU USE KITCHEN - EXPECT GLASS TOP REPLACEMENT-350$ IF YOU USE KITCHEN - EXPECT COUNTER TOP REPLACEMENT -150$ IF THEY PLAN TO REPLACE CARPET TO HARDWOOD - EXPECT 350$ CHARGE AND THE LIST GOES ON... I have stayed in Lincoln At Towne Square, Plano , tx-75024 There are already so many issues reported by tenants and the management is ignoring all the tenants issues. I will not recommend this place or the management. They don't even properly respond to your requests,.

The never sent me a lease renewal and then they started adding fees to my account when I called to address it they tried to back date my lease they don’t enforce people picking up after pets they don’t ice the public walkways if you try to address it they will send you something from there lawyer saying you need to get additional insurance. No one ever knows what’s going on in the office there maintenance staff is lazy and not properly trained they have to come back 3 and 4 times to fix the same thing. The people in the office are ratchet and act like they walked in off the street with no proper training.

Total Insanity!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I reported a neighbor, emptying buckets of " human waste", provided proof of over the occupancy limit, then was falsely accused of cussing at neighbors! Now, I' e been asked to move ( I don't want to), with no explanation, so I'm assuming it's retaliation. I've lived here for 3 years and still have 2 open maintenance requests. I applied at 3 other apts., only to be told that Mandye is non compliant with providing rental history, instead, insisting on a PERSONAL DISCUSSION about me . Better have proof , is all I will say! People are allowed to hang laundry, and leave out garbage ( both lease violations), and the garbage is causing rats. I reported it to Rudy, whom whined about a garden several buildings away. He had an exterminator come out, that left ant/roach baits on the kitchen floor. The rats could have used them for shoes! The rats are OUTSIDE, not inside...yet. I don't want to move, I want dishwasher and refrigerator FIXED/replaced, as Rudy promised in 2016.

Worst place to live if you are a person of Color

I moved in April 28th 2017, and up until the present day June 20th 2017 I have constantly harassed by my neighbor in 908 as well as Lisa Heaston and milestone management. I have complained on 4 separate occasions about the harassment by my neighbor 908.

My first complaint stemmed from 908 walking her dog without a leash and it almost biting my elderly Mother and my niece. The 2nd incident was when 908 continuously sweeps her trash, dog hair, and *** onto my patio. My 3rd complaint was of 908 walking around looking through my windows reporting back to the office that I do not have any furniture throughout my apartment, and last but not least 908 reported the liscense plates of all 5 of my family members vehicles, dates and times when they visit and leave. This is the ultimate form of harassment and disrespect tolerated by Lisa Heaston, Theresa Collard, Eve Horn, Steve T.

Lamberti and Milestone Management for allowing this ongoing abuse to take place on one of their residents. After all of my complaints went unheard I decided to install cameras around my apartment to make my family and I feel safe. But Ms Heaston served me a violation for having cameras to protect me and my property from This crime infested neighborhood and apartment complex. She made me take the cameras down without the benefit of that clause being in my lease.

So I feel that's prejudice and maybe somewhat racist being as though I'm African American and my neighbor is of European or Caucasian descent. After removing my cameras my apartment was vandalized and a huge stone was thrown through my window landing on my bed. This happpened Saturday morning June 10, 2017. I have since taken the police report to the office and 11 days later my window is still broken out and boarded up.

This is Unacceptable and unsafe living conditions. I fear for my life from my neighbor as well as management with regards to retaliation for filing complaints and grievances. All I want is a decent nights sleep which I haven't received since moving here on April 28, 2017.

I request to be released from my lease immediately and I request the money I paid for this last month as well as my deposit be refunded to me immediately. Your prompt attention will be greatly appreciated.

Horrible

Milestone Management was horrible at Bella Apartments in Orlando. The manager Luis is a *** and does not care about the employees unless you are Puerto Rican , or the residents. When you bring him an issue it does not get fixed in a timly manner. He is on his phone all the time and is very RUDE! He treats his employees very poorly to the point of a hostile environment. He is very rascest to the residents and employees. He lets everyone know he is up for manager of the year, but I have no idea how that can be. He must be a good liar to his boss Sheri ngo.

Rotten sewer lines, plumbers showed up started jack hammering holes in the floor multiple holes without covering and furniture, 1 day job turned into 6. Management would only pay for 2 nights in hotel refused to pay for the full six.

Told me i would have to pay for it. I am disabled OIF combat Veteran. With respiratory problems, previous back surgery, nerve damage in the neck PTSD. I was forced out because of the silica dust all over the apartment.

They still would not cover hotel, no carpet, no water, no bathroom, could not sleep in my bed because of the dust everwhere. They offered as reasonable an empty apartment with not even a bed, and with back and neck issues that is not an option. They expecting me to live in a torn up apartment can even walk around in cause living rool floor was gone. I have pictures of everything.

They forced me to move out of state for 2 of the days, and said can stay temporarily in a empty apartment with nothing but my clothes i had on. Didnt even offer a cheaper motel anything at all would have been fine. I also was forced to take vacation time from the job i had because I work from home. They have the audacity to where sfirts with we support our troops.

Really if you find any apartments tun by these guys stay far away from them. They will make you homeless, or put your health in jeopardy to save them measly 120 a night room or even a 40-60 a night room. I am debating legal action but dont know if I can handle anymore stress at this point.

Have more pictures but really never been treated like lowest form of life. All I asked for was a reasonable place to stay but answer was no i was the only one compromising to my disadvantage.

Absolutely no accountability

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
As it so happened, my complex recently changed to this Management Company and let me tell you. The value and the charm and the overall appeal factor dropped within 10 days. The immediate was noticed by the 'painting' that was going on for all the buildings. They went through each building to 'repair' holes in the wall cover drywall, etc. What they DID NOT DO was clean up after themselves and left the chalk that was emitted from the 'Dry Wall' fixes on stairs and in stair wells. I was one of the unfortunate ones that hit one of those dry wall clusters and slipped and fell while carrying groceries. I then went, got my own sweeper and dustpan and swept up every bit of their so called work on every level of the building I live in so no one else would have the same thing happen. If this is indicative of the kind of management that this company does, this complex will not take it. It is far too nice and in a far too upper side neighborhood to tolerate laziness. I'm not looking forward to this change whatsoever.

*** poor management

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Just moved in on 8/1/17. Had to jump through hoops on the day of move in to accommodate the lack of the so called professional's ability to tell me everything I needed up front. Instead, I had to run around all day getting this and then to learn I needed that. Was told she would be leaving at 6PM. Finally got my keys at 5:30PM after 8 hours of running like a mouse on a wheel. The real kicker is that the A/C was not working when I moved in. Maintenance leaves at 5 and A/C is not considered an emergency for after hours calls. It is now three days later and it STILL is not working. I believe when you pay for a service, you should at least get fair service. This is pitiful. If I could get my money back after three days, I would put my *** in storage and find another apartment
